Searching for our first home felt like an incredibly daunting task logistically and financially. While it was a goal we had for a long time, we managed to find ways to delay our search because it felt too overwhelming. Luckily we started working with Nina Chea who not only understood our hesitant mindset but put us on our path to buying a home. During our initial meetings, we were all over the place in terms of what we wanted because we didn’t know anything. Nina patiently gave us a general overview of the market and then walked us through some initial steps to start manageably searching for a home. She also detailed some of the pros and cons of each of the many options we were considering and helped guide us through creating a timeline without pressuring us to move too quickly. With Nina’s guidance and encouragement, we slowly started narrowing down our search and going to open houses to help figure out what we wanted.

Nina was absolutely amazing to have as a Realtor. Throughout the whole process, I felt that she truly cared about what was important to us. She was extremely hard working. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with Nina Chea while she sold our condominium in Beverly Hills. It was such a fantastic experience that I feel compelled to write this letter to help future prospective buyers or sellers considering hiring Nina as their agent.

My wife and I do not have any real estate experience and are completely skeptical of the process of buying and selling a home. Like most buyers or seller, we were concerned with being pressured or accidentally making a bad decision during the process. As a result, we set out to find an agent that we would be comfortable with and know we could trust.

Our initial inquiry to Nina was an e-mail asking for her advice. She immediately responded with questions that were helpful and illustrated some of the things we needed to be considering when looking to sell our property. She did this in a non-threatening way. We told her we were not interested in hiring an agent at that time, and she did not pressure us. However, she did very quickly reveal how valuable she was to the process. In a matter of days it was clear that she was the right person.

Nina is extremely dedicated and thorough in her profession. She was always way ahead of any deadlines and knew exactly what steps had to be taken to have a proper closure. I can sincerely and without question offer my highest recommendation for Nina’s realty services. Why?

I have been in LA for almost three and a half years, and in that time I have lived in four different apartments. I hate moving, yet I have had to do it every year because I have had pretty miserable luck in my apartment searches. So many hours wasted on numerous apartment search websites, and probably just as many driving around with the hope that I’ll just stumble upon a great apartment. It just didn’t happen. Instead I at least tried to go with places that would suit my needs at that point in time, but going in with that mentality makes it impossible to be comfortable and call a place home. Heck, I have yet to be in an apartment where I completely unpack and put art up because I knew I would be leaving at the end of my lease. It’s just an unpleasant and depressing way to go about things. Well, I can confidently say none of that will happen in my next apartment, thanks to Nina.

I was hesitant to approach a realtor to help me with my apartment search because I mistakenly thought they only handle sales (or lease-to-own apartments and homes) and didn’t want to waste their time. Nina was not only happy to help, but eager as well and within a couple hours of my initial query I had multiple lease listings in my inbox. Everything was neatly organized by price and location, with each listing providing just about every detail I could want to know before seeing an apartment. I sent my picks to Nina and quickly made all the necessary arrangements for me to view my choices. She also made herself available to answer questions and discuss apartments after viewings; the latter was particularly helpful when I needed to weigh the pros and cons. When I found an apartment I loved, Nina immediately got in touch with the leasing agent and within forty-eight hours the apartment was mine!

From start to finish, the entire search took less than a week. I’m used to allotting a month, on average, for an apartment search. This was, without question, the least stressful apartment hunt I have ever had, and that is completely and totally thanks to Nina. She was there for me every step of the way but she never pressured me to take an apartment that I was unsure of or didn’t like. I would say that I’d use Nina to help me find another apartment next time I look, but I have a feeling that I’m not going to want to leave my new apartment until I’m ready to buy a place. When that time comes, Nina will be the first person I call.

Nina was an amazing agent to work with! She was in control from the start to the finish, and made sure the whole process went without a hiccup. I was honored to be Nina’s first client to close a deal, but it seemed like she’d been doing this for years. The people she worked with were fantastic, and everyone she recommended for various services (financial, inspections, etc.) did a great job.

In addition to working incredibly hard and being super responsive whenever I needed to get a hold of her, she was always on top of every detail throughout the entire process – from arranging to get me in to all the places I wanted to look at, to later on scheduling all the appointments for the numerous inspections and especially keeping the constant barrage of documents manageable. She even remembered what my favorite beer was from when we first met and put a bunch in my fridge as a house warming gift!

Even when I was hopelessly confused about what was going on or needed to be done next, I never worried that something would slip through the cracks with her watching out for me.
